Overview
Obeya Cloud keeps you informed about changes that matter to you through in-app notifications, email digests, and browser push notifications. You have full control over what triggers notifications and how they are delivered.Notification Types
In-App
Real-time notifications in the top-right bell icon. Shows a badge count for unread notifications.
Email notifications for important events. Available as instant emails or daily/weekly digests.
Browser Push
Desktop push notifications even when Obeya Cloud is not the active tab. Requires browser permission.
Mobile Push
Push notifications on your mobile device via the Obeya Cloud mobile app.
What Triggers Notifications
By default, you are notified when:| Event | Default |

Configuring Notifications
Global Settings
Open Notification Settings
Go to Settings > Notifications from the user menu in the top-right corner.
Choose Delivery Methods
For each event type, choose your preferred delivery method: In-App, Email, Push, or any combination.
Set Email Digest Frequency
Choose between Instant (one email per event), Daily Digest (summary at 9 AM), or Weekly Digest (summary on Monday mornings).
Per-Board Settings
Override your global settings for specific boards. For example, you might want instant notifications for your team’s sprint board but only daily digests for a reference board. Click the bell icon in the board header to configure board-specific notification preferences.Subscribing to Items
Click the Subscribe button on any item to receive all updates for that item, regardless of whether you are assigned or mentioned. Unsubscribe at any time from the same button.Notification Center
Click the bell icon in the top-right corner to open the notification center. Features include:- Unread tab showing notifications you have not seen yet
- All tab showing your complete notification history
- Mark all as read button to clear the badge count
- Filter by notification type (mentions, assignments, updates)
- Click any notification to jump directly to the relevant item
Do Not Disturb
Enable Do Not Disturb mode from the notification center to temporarily pause all notifications. Set a duration (1 hour, 4 hours, until tomorrow, or custom) and resume at any time.Do Not Disturb pauses delivery of notifications. You will still see them in the notification center when you turn DND off — nothing is lost.
